Dynamic MR imaging provides fast, real-time image series (up to 50 images per second) to characterize organ movements. Thanks to this new technique, we are developing new applications. One such application is dynamic imaging of the vocal tract, which uses physical modeling to link the control of articulatory gestures to sound production. Another application is dynamic osteoarticular imaging, which enables us to better assess the biomechanical impact of lesions observed with static imaging.
